  • "This year we donated 1,200 bags of trail mix to the Hunger Task Force and the Jewish Community Food Pantry."

Dear Sirs, Thank you for purchasing the trail mix donation item from our annual Fruit and Nut (FAN) sale. This year we donated 1,200 bags of trail mix to the Hunger Task Force and the Jewish Community Food Pantry. The trail mix is used as part of the special holiday boxes given to families in need throughout Milwaukee. Your generosity helps feed the hungry during the holidays and teaches our students how they can make a difference in the world. Milwaukee Jewish Day School is Milwaukee’s only egalitarian, community Jewish day school for junior kindergarten through eighth-grade children. To make MJDS more accessible, we offer financial aid for qualifying families. On average, 50 percent of families receive need-based financial aid. Your purchase of FAN helps us fulfill our mission: Where academic excellence and Jewish values prepare children for a lifetime of success, leadership and engagement with the world. Thank you for your support. We wish you a happy and healthy New Year. Bivrachah, Sheryl Primakow Head of School

  • Support of the Delavan-Darien School District Foundation’s Blue & Gold Bash Scholarship Fundraiser

Dear Hupy and Abraham, Thank you for your support of the Delavan-Darien School District Foundation’s Blue & Gold Bash Scholarship Fundraiser. We have received your Silent Auction Donation and are grateful for your gift. All funds raised at the event will go towards helping graduating Delavan-Darien High School seniors continue their education beyond high school. They are today’s learners and tomorrow’s leaders, and your contributions toward our cause will aid them in achieving their educational goals. Each year, the Foundation and its donors are able to award more than $60,000 in scholarships to our local graduates because of donors like you. It is a part of a greater Delavan-Darien community local scholarship effort – which includes other scholarship s from area individuals, groups, and corporations – that typically generates more than $100,000 for our graduates. Your gift is most appreciated. Sincerely, Mike Heine

  • Support for the Food Bank of Iowa to Provide Thanksgiving Meals

Dear Hupy and Abraham, Thank you so much for choosing to support the Food Bank of Iowa with your generous contribution. Our mission is alleviating hunger through food distribution, partnership and education; it is due to your support that we are able to put our mission into action every day. From bringing in loads of fresh produce, distribution to our partner agencies, adding more delivery routes, putting our trucks on the road to conduct mobile pantries and operating direct service programs; we are committed to providing the food resources our partners and program participants critically need in 55 Iowa counties. We have a tremendous responsibility and we are grateful for your contribution to help us meet it. Last year, an estimated 175,000 Iowans were served through our partner agencies as well as our direct service programs; my simple “thank you” is on behalf of all of our neighbors your gift helps. Dear Hupy and Abraham, It is with sincere appreciation that we acknowledge your generous donation to the COOL Ministries for Thanksgiving holiday baskets. Your kindness is a blessing to COOL and those that we serve. The economic climate we are facing continues to impact those who come to us for assistance.
