  • "Your generous contribution helps provide year-round training and competition for over 22,000 athletes with intellectual disabilities"

Dear Hupy and Abraham, Thank you for your recent donation in support of the Law Enforcement Torch Run for Special Olympics Illinois (SOILL). Your generous contribution helps provide year-round training and competition for over 22,000 athletes with intellectual disabilities and more than 20,000 Young Athletes and Peer Partners (ages 2-7) with and without intellectual disabilities in Illinois. 2016 proved to be a milestone year for the Illinois Law Enforcement Torch Run, as more than $4 million was raised for the athletes of Special Olympics Illinois for the first time in our state’s history! Reaching this goal allows even more athletes to enjoy the transformative power of sport and the Special Olympics experience. This year’s Torch Run will take place June 4-9 across the state. Nearly 3,000 officers will carry the Flame of Hope 1,500 miles for the athletes of Special Olympics Illinois. While the fundraising and special events will continue until the end of the year, the actual run will culminate with lighting the caldron to open the 2016 Special Olympics Illinois Summer Games in Normal on June 9. Thanks to you, these athletes inspire greatness in everyone! Thanks again for your support of the Law Enforcement Torch Run! Sincerely, Chief Steven Stelter & Sandy Nash

  • "This contribution makes you part of the 'Army behind the Army'"

Dear Hupy and Abraham,  On behalf of The Salvation Army and the people we serve, thank you to Hupy and Abraham, S.C. for the very generous support of the 27th Annual Christmas Family Feast. The 2016 Christmas Family Feast was, again, an overwhelming success.  Our programs are designed to serve all individuals whose lives have been compromised by poverty, illness, or circumstances that have led them to our doors; doors that remain open to anyone and everyone. The Salvation Army has a long-term commitment to this community's welfare. The success of our programs speaks to the quality of our staff whose dedication and passion to improve the human condition remains steadfast. This contribution makes you part of the "Army behind the Army" and indeed fuels our mission allowing us to provide the most sustaining of all gifts... the gift of hope. Your ongoing support is a blessing to us... Thank you! The 2016 Christmas Family Feast saw 757 total volunteers, serving an unbelievable 2,693.42 hours of time. This year, we serve 8,800 meals to our neighbors. Support of the Christmas Family Feast came in the way of food (turkey, ham, veggies, pies, ice cream, paper products, gift cards) to physical (driving, unloading deliveries, hotel rooms) to monetary sponsorship of this beautiful event. Thank you, thank you, thank you! We can't say it enough. May God Bless You and Your Family throughout the coming year. His Herald, Major Steven J. Merritt Divisional Commander Wisconsin & Upper Michigan Division

  • "I truly could not have focused on this event day after day….and I didn’t have to."

Thank you Jason Abraham for the fantastic resolution to my case. Your staff was professional, kind and truly incredible. I so appreciate everything you did to get the result, on my behalf.  It's funny- I never truly appreciated the practice of personal injury until being the “victim.” It is emotionally draining, and daunting to think about. Having you and your team deal with it – made what could have been a very difficult situation, so much easier.  I can tell you my recovery was made much easier, not having to ALSO focus on property damage/ claims/ reimbursement and ultimate settlement.  I truly could not have focused on this event day after day….and I didn’t have to. Many thanks for not only your hard work, but a job very well done.
