  • "Your gift will help Second Harvest Foodbank provide nutritious food to our neighbors facing hunger in the communities we serve."

Hupy and Abraham, Thank you for your donation! Your gift will help Second Harvest Foodbank provide nutritious food to our neighbors facing hunger in the communities we serve. Providing access to food, with an emphasis on nutritious food, is the primary way we help meet our mission of ending hunger in southwestern Wisconsin. Nearly 70% of the food we distribute is considered “foods to encourage a healthy lifestyle.” As part of the Second Harvest Foodbank’s Strategic Plan 2020 we will increase access to healthy food for people facing hunger to impact their health and well-being. One key way we will do this is to obtain 1,240,000 of produce from the Midwest Regional Produce Center by June 2019 —a 55% increase over the previous year! Your support will help us provide this additional healthy produce. Food not only provides better health, but also hope.                 “I would like to take this time, by first saying THANK YOU for all you do. If it wasn’t for you, my family would not have enough food to get by. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. Keep up the great work. You guys and gals are awesome.” H.R. Thank you again for your gift and partnership. Together, we can end hunger in southwestern Wisconsin. Thank you for your incredible and continued support. With gratitude, Daniel J. Stein President/CEO

  • "Your kindness is a blessing to COOL and those that we serve."

Hupy and Abraham, It is with sincere appreciation that we acknowledge your generous donation to the COOL Ministries for Thanksgiving holiday baskets. Your kindness is a blessing to COOL and those that we serve. Last year COOL was able to provide holiday meals for 1200 families. We are grateful that because of our donors we can again have these holiday meals available for our pantry visitors who will come to the pantries seeking food assistance for the Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays. COOL is committed to identifying and adapting to the ever-changing needs of our community, and our staff works very hard to continue providing the highest level of services to those who come to us seeking assistance. On behalf of all of us at COOL and those we serve, we thank you for your help and support in carrying out our mission of service to those less fortunate this holiday season. Warmest regards, Mindy Lindholm Executive Director

  • "Your gift will help meet the demand for health care, treatment, and support services for people living with HIV throughout Wisconsin."

Dear Hupy and Abraham, Thank you for your supporting the 33rd Annual Make a Promise Gala, through your sponsorship. Your gift will help meet the demand for health care, treatment, and support services for people living with HIV throughout Wisconsin. The AIDS Resource Center of Wisconsin is home to the ARCW HIV Medical Home. • "Thank you for joining us in our fight against blood-related cancers."

Dear Hupy and Abraham, S.C., I would like to thank you for your generous contribution in 2018 on behalf of the Iowa Chapter of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society and for joining us in our fight against blood-related cancers. Your donation goes to assist our mission, which is to find cures for leukemia, lymphoma, hodgkin’s disease, and myeloma and to improve the quality of life for patients and families. Our patient service programs include: family support groups, purple and professional education programs, and Back to School materials for the teachers, parents, and students. Research has already lengthened the life spans for many adults and children, but for each family it remains a personal fight supported by doctors, nurses, and other health professionals. Thank you again for your donation and support of our organizational cause. It is deeply appreciated. Sincerely, Holly Stevens Bookkeeper Melanie Brown Executive Director The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society Iowa Chapter

  • "By supporting WHS, you are immediately and forever entwined in the hearts, and in the lives, of animals and people whom you may never know."

Dear Friends, Thank you for your generous gift of $5,000.00 to the Wisconsin Humane Society (WHS). By supporting WHS, you are immediately and forever entwined in the hearts, and in the lives, of animals and people whom you may never know. On behalf of them, we extend our heartfelt gratitude. Your support is vital to saving lives. WHS does not receive general government funding and we are not an affiliate of any national animal welfare organization. Donations from people like you account for more than half of the WHS budget, and providing lifesaving care to so many animals and people in need. Every day, our work is inspired by the vision of creating as much change, and having as much impact, in the coming decades as in the decades that have preceded us. As we look to the future, we are intently focused on finding ways that we can make the community a better place for animals and people. Today, you’ve made that vision possible. Today we’ve made a difference. And most importantly, today, you’ve saved a life. With gratitude, Anne Reed President and CEO

  • "Thank you for your investment and lending a helping hand."

Dear Friends, On behalf of the children and families served by Ronald McDonald House Charities® of Chicagoland & Northwest Indiana (RMHC-CNI), thank you for your generous gift in honor of Margaret “Mighty Maggie” Carlson. Families face incredible stress and challenges while their children undergo lifesaving medical treatment. The DeAngelis family relied on the Ronald McDonald Family Room in Edward Hospital when their son, Carter, was six months old and diagnosed with Respiratory Syncytial Virus —a virus especially dangerous for young children. Carter’s mom, Brittany, was incredibly grateful. “The Family Room provided us with toiletries and catered meals to make sure we were healthy and strong so that we could take care of carter. Had it not been for that, we wouldn’t have eaten. I know how important it is to help families take care of themselves during a difficult time so that they can be strong for their family. I cannot thank Ronald McDonald House enough.” As we look toward the future, we will continue to deepen our commitment to advancing the health and well-being of children and families in our community. Thank you for your investment and lending a helping hand. Sincerely, Jim De Maria Vice President of Development
