  • Ride for Research raised $14,000 for the UW Carbone Cancer Center in Madison

Dear Hupy and Abraham, The 2016 dual-sport riding season in Wisconsin has become to a close. Both the Ride for Research in June, and the Big Woods 200 in September were fantastic events! Participation in the Adventure Bike and Dual-Sport 101 continues to grow, alongside the traditional dual-sport route. It’s exciting to see so many riders of all abilities enjoying the North Woods together many for the first time. In June, the Ride for Research raised $14,000 for the UW Carbone Cancer Center in Madison, Wisconsin. This money supports the daily research work of the laboratory staff. The Big Woods 200 was our largest event with 269 registered riders. With sponsor support and the generous riders, we raised a total of $5,000. All the funds were donated to the Townsend Food Pantry, the Laona Summer Youth Program, the Wabeno School Future Business Leaders Club, and the Andrew Shepherd Scholarship. We enjoyed a chili lunch sponsored by the American Legion Post, an awesome steak dinner provided by the Wabeno Lion’s Club, and a hearty, hot breakfast was served by the Big Easel. Special thanks and appreciation goes to Key Time Motorsports Husqvarna, Team 2 Racing, Metro Motorcycles, MSR, and CJ Designs, for setting up displays with inventory and bikes and contributing to the exciting atmosphere at both events. None of this would happen without you, our sponsors! Our club members, event riders, the UW Carbone Cancer Center staff, and the Forest County communities all say; Thank you for your generous support! Sincerely, Perry Abitz Sponsor Coordinator - WDSR

  • I Am Very Thankful For All You Do For All of Us Riders

I wanted to say a personal Thank You on helping ABATE of Wisconsin payoff our Mortgage of our Land (aka: ABATE Acres). It is a great time to be a memeber of our organization, and I am very thankful for all you do for all of us riders. I am hoping we are really protecting our freedom's for some of our future generations. I know they will be able to enjoy this land because of so many - with Hupy & Abraham at the Top of the List!!! If you noticed the July Newsletter, I was honored to represent Hupy and Abraham in the picture on the front page giving the big check to our Executive Director, Dave "Chubby" Charlebois. We all know this was one of many checks you gave to help us get this mortgage paid off way ahead of time.  Thank You!!! Be safe, love ya' all

Wanted to pass along that I first spoke to Mr. Hupy in 1995 about an issue and was very favorably impressed. I've riden with Gov. Thompson, Tony and his bride Vicky, so I go back some. Just a note of thanks to Mr. Hupy for his continued support of motorcyclists. Thank you for the front line help. You make a difference in every life your firm represents. Best Regards,

Hello Attorney Hupy, I saw you on the news this past week offering a reward. Thank you for doing this for our community.  I cannot beleive the disregard for human life some have these days. I also wanted to say Thank You for your Ads in our September ABATE newsletter. I know you're in it each month but there is a Full Page one that is awesome! And I saw how close we are to another match for $10k to help reduce our Land payments - thank you.
