  • "You are empowering individuals and their children at a time when they feel powerless."

Dear Hupy and Abraham, Thank you for celebrating survivors and their stories of hope at Be the Light! This special evening was uplifting, inspiring, and a true testament of the incredible work happening at Sojourner Family Peace Center thanks to you. The compassion and support was palpable as the audience stood up, cheered and high-fived Megan, Monica, Champa, Michelle, Natalie and the Family Peace Center staff at they courageously walked the runway. Thank you for supporting these women and empowering them after they have overcome so much. • "Your donation will support services for those diagnosed with MS and those who love and care for them."

Dear Friends at Hupy and Abraham, S.C.: “Understanding and ending MS can’t come fast enough.” That’s a statement I’m sure you believe in as much as anyone involved with the MS Movement. We know there are still more questions than answers where MS is concerned, but we also know that we’re at a pivotal moment in time where significant progress is being made and breakthrough solutions will change the world forever. Your donation to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society-Wisconsin Chapter for the 2018 Walk MS: Cedarburg, will be part of that. It will help fund research focusing on the priority areas of progressive MS, nervous system repair, gene/environmental risk factors, and wellness and lifestyle. It will support services for those diagnosed with MS and those who love and care for them. All of that is especially important in a state such as Wisconsin that has one of the higher prevalent rates of MS in the nation. Thank you for your gift and your belief in the Society’s mission. Sincerely, Colleen G. Kalt President

  • "You have demonstrated your belief that we can make a difference when we care for each other."

Dear Hupy and Abraham, Thank you for your recent gift to Sojourner Family Peace Center. Your donation ensures survivors of domestic violence have a safe place to sleep, an advocate to support them, and an entire community offering encouragement. Like you, I give to Sojourner to advocate for human dignity and transform our community. I have served on Sojourner’s Board of Directors for several years, and first got involved after learning about the comprehensive work that Sojourner does for those who are hurting in our community. I believe that everyone deserves safety, and that a life free from violence is a basic human right. I believe that together we can create hope and provide light in dark times for people who are hurting. I know what we are stronger when we stand together. The need for a safe and peaceful community is still great. Basic human rights, like respect and dignity, are still being denied to many. In 2017, 1,500 more individuals reached out to Sojourner for safety and help. Your generous gift provides crisis housing, system advocacy, and individual support to nearly 12,000 women, children, and families who Sojourner serves each year. At Sojourner, we know that we can only continue this work if we are in partnership with each of you. You have demonstrated your belief that we can make a difference when we care for each other. Sojourner values the trust you have placed in us, and we assure you that Sojourner remains committed to providing world-class, holistic care to those who are hurting in our community. I remain grateful for your partnership, and Sojourner looks forward to sharing our successes with you. Thanks to your law firm’s generosity. With gratitude, Kathleen Donius President, Sojourner Board of Directors

  • "We appreciate your contribution to a memorable night benefitting a great cause."

Dear Hupy and Abraham, S.C., Thank you for choosing to support our annual Grateful Plate: An Evening to Solve Hunger gala. Your support will make possible a memorable night of raising friends and funding toward our mission of solving hunger. And honestly, it could not have come at a better time. Year after year, the summer months bring with them serious challenges for a food bank. Kids are out of school and those breakfasts, lunches and often dinners they could previously count on during the day aren’t available again until September. When 1 in 4 children in Milwaukee are facing hunger, that makes summer a make or break time. Rooted here in Milwaukee, our mission began 35 years ago with a bushel of apples and a commitment from the Milwaukee Rotary Club to bring healthy food to those facing hunger. Through your support of this event, you will ensure the roots laid 35 years ago here in Milwaukee, will continue to transform lives and bring us one step closer to our vision of a hunger-free Wisconsin. We appreciate your contribution to a memorable night benefitting a great cause. Our mission’s success depends on partners like you and for that we are truly grateful. Thank you again for your generosity. Together we can solve hunger! Sincerely, Patti Habeck President

  • "Your support is vital to saving lives."

Dear Hupy and Abraham, S.C., Thank you for your generous gift to the Wisconsin Humane Society (WHS) – Ozaukee Campus. By supporting WHS, you are immediately and forever entwined in the hearts, and in the lives, of animals and people whom you may never know. On behalf of them, we extend our heartfelt gratitude. Your support is vital to saving lives. WHS does not receive general government funding and we are not an affiliate of any national animal welfare organization. Donations from people like you account for more than half of the WHS budget, and provide lifesaving care to so many animals and people in need. Every day, our work is inspired by the vision of creating as much change, and having as much impact, in the coming decades as in the decades that have preceded us. As we look to the future, we are intently focused on finding ways that we can make the community a better place for animals and people. Today, you’ve mad that vision possible. Today you’ve made a difference. And most importantly, today, you’ve saved a life. With gratitude, Anne Reed President and CEO
