  • "Your investment in our agency is making a meaningful difference in the lives of children and families in Milwaukee and Waukesha counties."

Dear Hupy and Abraham, I am proud to announce – for the second year in a row – Big Brothers Big Sisters of America has awarded our agency with its highest honor, the Pinnacle Award. As a generous supporter of Big Brother Big Sisters of Metro Milwaukee, you contributed to this achievement, and we share this award with you. Big Brothers Big Sisters of America has been committed to measurable outcomes for over 15 years. They have invested in the development of scientific evaluation tools and up-to-date research on positive youth development. They hold every agency affiliate across the country accountable for meeting national program standards and fiscal minimums to create a sustainable nationwide network of premiere one-to-one youth mentoring programs. On a monthly basis, our national office monitors and evaluates agency data and program performance of each affiliate across the country. We also monitor ourselves, and affiliates monitor each other to identify and share best practices and continuously learn from one another. After thorough evaluation of nationwide data, Big Brothers Big Sisters of America identifies the top performing agencies and acknowledges them at the national conference in June. Pinnacle Award winning agencies are recognized for delivering “best-in-class” non-profit performance. This year, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Metro Milwaukee was one of seven agencies – of over 300 across the country – to receive the Pinnacle Award, and one of only two to receive it for two consecutive years. Your investment in our agency is making a meaningful difference in the lives of children and families in Milwaukee and Waukesha counties. The Pinnacle Award is a true reflection of our collective commitment to delivering positive outcomes to youth facing adversity. We hope you will continue to support us as we empower children to test their limits, discover who they are and what they are capable of, and achieve long-term success in life. Thank You. Sincerely, Annie Jurczyk Vice President of Development

  • "Your contribution is an investment in a better life for the dogs in our care."

Hupy and Abraham, Thank you for your gift to the Midwest Border Collie Rescue, Inc. Your contribution is an investment in a better life for the dogs in our care. Your generosity helps to provide our rescued Border Collies with vaccinations, medical treatment, and spay-neuter surgery. Each dog in foster care receives the love and training it needs for a fresh start with a caring and responsible adopter. We thoroughly screen potential adopters to ensure a good match, and we conduct a home visit prior to each adoption. MWBCR provides continuing education and support to our adopters and to the public at large. Thank you for partnering with us to save these wonderful dogs. Your generosity enables us to open our hearts, lives and homes to ensure the safety of abandoned and unwanted Border Collies. With appreciation, Kelli Zandonai

  • "This contribution will not only provide a life-changing opportunity for a family to purchase and own a decent home, it will also empower them to build a strong and sustainable future for themselves and their children."

Dear Hupy and Abraham, On behalf of Milwaukee Habitat for Humanity, I want to personally thank you for your gift of $5,000. This contribution will not only provide a life-changing opportunity for a family to purchase and own a decent home, it will also empower them to build a strong and sustainable future for themselves and their children. Over the last 33 years, Milwaukee Habitat has focused on building and renovating houses in partnership with families in need, serving more than 1,000 families locally and 1,800 families in developing countries. We work under the guiding belief that decent and affordable housing helps families break the cycle of poverty, create long-term financial security, and build a better future for their children. Since launching our Neighborhood Revitalization strategy in 2013, our organization has partnered with volunteers, donors, and community stakeholders in the Washington Park neighborhood to build new homes and rehab existing homes. In addition, over 100 low-income homeowners have received assistance in making needed repairs to their homes, with projects ranging from minor exterior repairs to critical repairs to address safety and accessibility concerns. Thank you again for your contribution and your belief in our mission. Sincerely, Andy Heuer Development Director

  • "Your support will make possible a memorable night of raising friends and funding toward our mission of solving hunger."

Dear Hupy and Abraham, Thank you for choosing to support our 14th Annual Feed Your Soul event by joining us as the Feed Your Soul Partner Sponsor. Your support will make possible a memorable night of raising friends and funding toward our mission of solving hunger. And honestly, it could not have come at a better time. Year after year, the cooler months bring with them serious challenges for a food bank. Many families have to choose between paying rent, heat, warm clothes, and putting food on the table. When 1 in 4 children in Milwaukee are facing hunger, we need to come together and ensure that no one has to miss a meal. Our mission’s success depends on partners like you and for that we are truly grateful. Thank you again for your generosity. Sincerely, Patti Habeck President Feeding America Eastern Wisconsin

  • "..our vision is to create a stronger, healthier Milwaukee where families of all incomes and backgrounds truly thrive."

Dear Michael, On behalf of the entire YMCA of Metropolitan Milwaukee family, thank you for Hupy and Abraham’s sponsorship in support of the 21st annual Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Celebration Breakfast. We are thrilled that you will join us at the Italian Community Center on January 15, 2018, to celebrate the legacy of a great leader committed to equality for all members of our society. It is an honor to host this important event for nearly 600 community, business, civic and faith leaders. What a gift it is to see so many community members come together in tribute and celebration. This year’s theme is Dr. King’s challenge, “We must learn to live together as brothers or perish together as fools.” At the Milwaukee Y, our vision is to create a stronger, healthier Milwaukee where families of all incomes and backgrounds truly thrive. The Milwaukee Y strives to meet community needs through the strategic cultivation of partnerships with other non-profits, the public sector, businesses, individuals and the neighborhoods which we serve. Once again, thank you. Your support helps make this event possible and reminds our community that together—we all have an important role to play in the region and state that we call home. Sincerely, Shaneé Jenkins Vice President of Social Responsibility & Strategic Partnerships YMCA of Metropolitan Milwaukee
