If you have been injured in a slip and fall accident you know how painful the injuries associated with a fall can be.  In fact, recent court cases in Wisconsin and across the nation have shown that a serious slip and fall can end in disability and death.

The National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH) is working hard to prevent both falls from a height and slips, trips and falls.  In May the government agency will be hosting a conference that will feature the foremost researchers in fall prevention and protection.

Researchers, safety professionals, engineers and students will learn more about preventing slips and falls.  They will also participate in an open exchange of ideas concerning emerging methods of prevention.  The International Conference on Fall Prevention and Protection will be held on May 19-20th in West Virginia.

Topics at the conference will include the prevention of different falls such as falls from elevation and slips, trips and falls.

The Milwaukee personal injury attorneys at Hupy and Abraham hope that the conference will spread the word about the best ways to prevent injuries caused by slips and falls in Wisconsin, Iowa, Illinois, and across the nation.
