COA Youth & Family Centers, a Milwaukee organization over 100 years old that helps children, teens and families reach their greatest potential with programs offered through its urban community centers, is getting ready for Oscar Night at the 18th Annual Hollywood Gala!
On Sunday, February 28, join Hupy and Abraham and COA for a black-tie event that will feature a silent auction, over 150 local and national businesses, a seated dinner, entertainment and a live screening of the 88th Academy Awards hosted by local television personality Mark Baden. Each year, the Academy selects one nonprofit organization per state to host a screening of the Oscar ceremony, and COA has been selected to represent Wisconsin for the last 18 years.
The 2016 COA Hollywood Gala will be presented by the Marcus Corporation and the National Association of Theatre Owners of Wisconsin & Upper Michigan. Hupy and Abraham is proud to be recognized as the Rising Star Sponsor of the event. Proceeds from the gala will support COA’s mission to provide life-changing programs like early child development, youth development and community development, all centered around family.
Last year, Hupy and Abraham made a scholarship contribution to COA’s HIPPY program (Home Instruction for Parents of Preschool Youngsters) at the 2015 Hollywood Gala. Over $170,000 was raised at last year’s event.
Hupy and Abraham is proud to support local organizations like COA Youth & Family Centers and in the past has supported COA’s Skyline Music Series, as well as its annual Parents of the Year Luncheon.
