The Wisconsin Breast Cancer Showhouse (WBCS) held their 24th Annual Pinktacular Event – Salute to Survivors luncheon and fashion show on October 12, 2023, at the Italian Community Center. Hupy and Abraham, S.C. has been a proud sponsor of this event for over 10 years. The proceeds of this event go toward supporting breast cancer and prostate cancer research at the Medical College of Wisconsin Cancer Center.
Guests were welcomed to the Italian Community Center and given the opportunity to participate in multiple fundraising activities. These included a 50/50 raffle, a silent auction, a gift card pull and a wine pull.
The fashion show was emceed by Joyce Garbaciak, a veteran broadcaster and journalist for WISN TV Channel 12 and featured 10 models who were all survivors of breast cancer or prostate cancer. Each model was accompanied by a support partner who has played an integral role in the models’ treatment and recovery. The fashion show clothing was courtesy of Evereve, Yellow Wood, SHOP, Gigi MKE, Moxie Midwest and Harleys: HH Clothing Co.
Hupy and Abraham, S.C. was a proud sponsor with employees in attendance, with Marketing Director Jill Wellskopf serving as a Table Captain. Attorney Michael Hupy has also been a long-term supporter of the Wisconsin Breast Cancer Showhouse. In 2004, the Hupy family donated their home, which was used as the tour-based Breast Cancer Showhouse.
