Dear Sarah Olsen,

I sincerely want to thank you for the generous donation of the laminator and laminating packages for my students. The generous donation has helped our activities become interactive and engaging. My students really do appreciate your kindness. I told them we received a gift from some kind people for our classroom activities. They were confused at first when I showed them the laminator and packages. However, as soon as the assembly line of worksheets were ready for the laminating process, they understood.
I allowed some students to help insert the sheets into the laminating sheets and insert the sheets into the laminator. I felt it was important for them to see and be part of the process. This also gives them some basic office and organizational skills. This definitely made them feel proud and special.

We wrote our thank you cards together as a writing lesson. Many of my students need support to write out their ideas, form sentences, and spell correctly. This made for a great activity to hear the kind words they wanted to share with you.
The students look forward to the laminated activities, having their own sheet, and this motivated them to pay attention more. They enjoy the hands on work the laminated sheets provide. My students look forward to our activities together and that's crucial to their learning. Thank you for making our first project a success. Gracias!

With gratitude,
Teacher Torres
