Attorney Michael Hupy has announced a $25,000 reward through Milwaukee Crime Stoppers for information leading to the arrest and conviction of Antonio Brown, the shooter in a recent Milwaukee homicide. Brown remains at large.
Antonio Brown is accused of murdering Latroy Harris, who was shot and killed on December 15, 2025. The case has deeply impacted the community and hits especially close to home for the Hupy and Abraham law firm.
Latroy’s brother, Monte Mabra, has longstanding ties with Hupy and Abraham, S.C. Monte has been a friend of the firm for many years, a client on multiple occasions, and a community partner whose initiatives the firm has supported for more than 17 years. Over that time, Hupy and Abraham sponsored numerous efforts led by Mabra and remained actively involved.
Monte has often emphasized that Hupy and Abraham does far more than simply write a check, the firm is hands-on, present and genuinely invested in the people and causes it supports. You can hear more about that here.
One of Monte’s most meaningful efforts is his proposed anti-violence initiative, “I Will Not Die to Gun Violence.” The program is designed as a 20-week court education series for both adults and teens involved in gun-related cases. The initiative focuses on gun violence awareness, challenging harmful social norms and teaching healthy conflict resolution skills, all to prevent future tragedies.
“We don’t want the shooter to win,” Mabra said. “So, we’re going to find a way through this initiative to allow Latroy to live forever.”
Under Attorney Hupy’s leadership, Milwaukee Crime Stoppers has played a critical role in generating anonymous tips that lead to arrests, fugitive recoveries, and justice for victims and their families. The reward reflects a continued commitment to community safety and accountability.
