Hupy and Abraham President Michael Hupy celebrated 25 years with the firm at the 2014 Holiday Party. Attorney Hupy has been a huge part of the Milwaukee community, and was recently named a Principal Benefactor for the Milwaukee Justice Center. Attorney Hupy has instilled the law firm with the ideology of “doing well by doing good,” and believes that one must give back to the community.

Hupy and Abraham has pledged to give back to the community every year.

Each year, the employees at Hupy and Abraham are called to give back to the community in an effort to thank the firm for all it has done for decades. Typically, the staff votes on a group of deserving charities and then donates to the top choice. This year, each Hupy and Abraham shareholder chose a charity of their choice and staff were allowed to put their donations to one or all five charities.

On December 6, 2014, the entire company heard the results, along with who chose each charity, which are as follows:

  1. Michael Hupy --- Wounded Warrior Project: $1,440
  2. Chad Kreblin --- Make-A-Wish: $965
  3. Todd Korb --- Heifer International: $790
  4. Brandon Derry ---  Feeding America: $640
  5. Jason Abraham ---  Special Olympics: $550

These donations brought the initial total to $4,385. However, Attorney Derry matched the proceeds given to his charity by 100 percent, which brought the total donations made to over $5,000.

Hupy and Abraham has donated $500,000 to 100 worthwhile causes in the past 3 years. The firm has been a longtime supporter of the communities it serves. This support will continue in 2015 and for many years to come. Hupy and Abraham would like to wish everyone a safe and happy holiday season!
