The National Board of Trial Advocacy was the first American Bar Association-accredited, attorney board-certifying agency in the world. A board certification is the highest honor a trial attorney can receive. Many attorneys seek a certification to exemplify their commitment to improving the legal profession. Eligible attorneys must complete a thorough screening process of their credentials before earning a certification.

To be declared a “board-certified advocate,” Attorney Schelwat has demonstrated that he possesses the required skills, knowledge and proficiency in the law. Only three percent of lawyers in the United States have achieved this honor.

Attorney Schelwat joins firm President Michael Hupy, Managing Partner Jason Abraham, Shareholder Chad Kreblin, and Shareholder Todd Korb, Hupy and Abraham, S.C. attorneys who are currently certified members of The National Board of Trial Advocacy.

Since 2002, Attorney Schelwat has been practicing with Hupy and Abraham, S.C. and is licensed to practice law in Wisconsin, Illinois and Hawaii.
