Mark your calendars and prepare to load up the car because the Milwaukee Brewers Opening Day is April 6, 2015. Get ready to join Hupy and Abraham to celebrate the first game of the season against Colorado.

Miller ParkAs a proud sponsor of the Milwaukee Brewers, Hupy and Abraham is optimistic for a safe Opening Day, as well as a winning season. When you and your family and friends head out for the game, we hope that you’ll be conscious of your safety as well as those around you while celebrating the Opening Day festivities.

There is no other place in the country that tailgates like Milwaukee does at Miller Park. Parking lots open three hours before the game, and tailgaters must make their way into the stadium within 30 minutes of the first pitch. If you choose to arrive early to tailgate, be sure to safely set up your grill, be mindful of other vehicles and remind your fellow fans to drink responsibly. Security will prohibit overintoxicated fans from entering the game.

Alcohol is a large part of Brewers culture, but if you or your family are seeking a more family friendly experience, Miller Park designates sections 217, 308, 309 and 417 as the Family Sections. The serving and consumption of alcohol is prohibited in these sections.

Brewers fans celebrate like no other. But win or lose, Hupy and Abraham implores fans to never drink and drive. The Brewers host a Safe Ride Home program to assist fans in getting home safely. Those seeking a ride and have parked in a Miller Park lot can receive a taxicab ride home at management’s discretion. But, the best course of action is to designate a sober driver for the day.

Leaving Miller Park is often a difficult process after a game, so be aware of potentially lost or intoxicated drivers. As well, you may be tempted to share your Opening Day experience as soon as possible, but wait until you arrive home safely before texting. An accident caused by distracted driving is sure to spoil the end of such an eventful day.

The attorneys at Hupy and Abraham hope you have a great Opening Day experience, free from injury or mishap. If for any reason you or a loved one are injured due to the negligence of another on Opening Day, please contact Hupy and Abraham at 800-800-5678 for a free consultation.
