A crowd at the Milwaukee Rally gathers at Wisconsin Harley-Davidson.

Every year, hundreds of motorcycle events occur across the state of Wisconsin. A large number of these events are motorcycle related. Whether you ride a cruiser, sport bike, scooter or anything in between, there’s an event for you. If you’re around Milwaukee, Wausau, Madison or the Green Bay-Appleton area, there’s likely a must-see motorcycle gathering that’s not far from you. Let’s take a look at some of the upcoming Wisconsin motorcycle events you don’t want to miss.

Milwaukee Rally, September 1-5 – The Milwaukee Rally, also known as the Hometown Rally, is another annual event that takes place across the city of Milwaukee and beyond over Labor Day weekend. People gather from around the state, and even the country, to celebrate Harley-Davidson. Several local Harley-Davidson dealerships hold rally gatherings over the weekend. There is non-stop live music, a ton of great food and many activities for riders and non-riders alike. If you’re in the city of Milwaukee, you can head to Milwaukee Harley-Davidson. For those in the Mequon and surrounding areas, check out Suburban Motors Harley-Davidson in Thiensville. Wisconsin Harley-Davidson in Oconomowoc is a great destination for riders in Waukesha County or those visiting from Madison and beyond. Finally, for those coming from the north end of the state, West Bend Harley-Davidson is the northernmost dealership celebrating the Milwaukee Rally. Many riders love to visit them all! No matter what dealership you visit, you’re bound to find great entertainment and bond with other riders.

Tomahawk Rally, September 16-18 – The Tomahawk Rally takes place yearly in Downtown Tomahawk, Wisconsin, and the surrounding areas. Main Street of Downtown Tomahawk is lined with various vendors and filled with riders exploring the area. Friday, there is a giant parade of motorcycles that rides through downtown and is open to any rider who wants to join. If you want to ride in the parade, all you need to do is gather at the high school before the parade start time. For those interested in Harley-Davidson, the Harley plant gives tours showing how they operate throughout the course of the event. The weekend is also filled with great opportunities for scenic rides through the Northwoods. Riding among the trees that are changing colors into the fall season, and traveling on winding scenic roads, is a must-see experience.

These are all events that every rider in Wisconsin and the Midwest needs to experience. No matter what type of bike you ride, you’ll be sure to enjoy each of them. Hupy and Abraham is proud to have been involved with each of these events for many years. We’ll be promoting motorcycle awareness at each of these gatherings.
