Thanks to generous donors like Attorney Michael Hupy, shareholder of the personal injury law firm Hupy and Abraham, University School Milwaukee (USM) was able to exceed its fundraising goal of $1,100,000 for the 2012-2013 school year.
USM nurtures students from pre-K through high school and provides each one of them with the “experience for a lifetime.” Two of Attorney Hupy’s children graduated from USM before going on to graduate from Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois.
By providing an outstanding college-preparatory education and helping students reach their full potential, USM has built a proud tradition of excellence. Their graduating class of 2012 posted a composite ACT score of 28.7, over seven points higher than the national average. Furthermore, USM students passed 92% of their AP exams while the national average sits at 68%.
Attorney Hupy’s latest contribution will impact every single aspect of student life at USM. Back in 2009, to commemorate his son’s graduation, Attorney Hupy made a substantial donation which enabled USM to build additional classrooms and offices. By exceeding its $1,100,000 fundraising goal this year, USM will be able to continue providing the “experience for a lifetime” for many years to come.
