Riders enter the Harley-Davidson Museum grounds on their motorcycles for the Homecoming Festival in 2023.

Every year, Harley-Davidson and the dealerships across the Southeastern Wisconsin area hold a giant event throughout the Milwaukee area to commemorate the yearly Harley anniversary. Once known as the Milwaukee Rally and rebranding as the Harley-Davidson Homecoming in 2023, this year’s huge event is planned to take place in July 2024. In the past, the Milwaukee Rally would take place over Labor Day weekend at Harley dealerships across the Milwaukee area. The rebranding of Homecoming came with changed event dates, moving to the middle of summer – July 25-28, 2024. The weekend is filled with tons of activities and takes place at Harley dealerships, the Harley-Davidson Museum, Veterans Park and many other venues.

Let’s look at what you can expect at this year’s Harley-Davidson Homecoming Festival.

During the 2024 Homecoming, riders can take part in many different events across the city of Milwaukee and surrounding areas over four days, July 25 through July 28. With concerts, minibike races, tours and more, there are several locations that attendees can plan on visiting. Main hubs include the Harley-Davidson Museum, Veterans Park on the Lake Michigan Shore, the Harley-Davidson Headquarters on Juneau Avenue, Suburban Harley in Thiensville, Wisconsin Harley in Oconomowoc, Uke’s Harley in Kenosha and many more venues.

A major announcement was made that several popular bands will be playing concerts at Veterans Park on the lakefront in Milwaukee. Both the Red Hot Chili Peppers and Jelly Roll will be headlining a music festival on separate nights.  Other bands playing this festival include Hardy, The Offspring, Cypress Hill and more. There are also many local and national acts playing at the Harley dealerships across the area throughout the festival. These are great concerts that you won’t want to miss!

Veterans Park will also have a lot of other activities for riders, families or anyone else interested in attending. Local food, drink and motorcycle-related vendors will be gathered on the festival grounds. You can also expect things like motorcycle stunt shows and other entertainment. Admission tickets will range from $125 for single-day general admission to $500, if you want the two-day VIP pass.

New this year is the opportunity to tour the Harley-Davidson headquarters on Juneau Ave. This building once served as the original Harley-Davidson factory. The first 1,000 attendees each day that take the tour will receive a commemorative historical tour coin. There is also a new community area on the grounds called Davidson Park, which will have local food, music and a vintage motorcycle show during the Homecoming event.

The Harley-Davidson Museum will hold many free events throughout the weekend including concerts, Boonie bike races from the organizers of Flat Out Friday and Mama Tried and custom motorcycle shows. The museum will also be open to check out for everyone who buys an admission ticket, which starts at $22. Motorcycle parking will be abundant at each venue, but you’ll want to plan ahead for parking if you’re visiting using a car or other larger vehicle.

Each Harley dealership throughout the area will host big parties as well all weekend, with live music, food, drink and motorcycle vendors. Hupy and Abraham will be at several locations promoting our Watch for Motorcycles message and handing out free T-shirts, hats, stickers and more to anyone who stops by our booth.
