Thanks to the generosity and vision of local attorney and philanthropist Michael F. Hupy, Milwaukee County will host an unforgettable celebration on Thursday, July 3, 2025, featuring a spectacular 45-minute drone show over McKinley Beach and the city’s stunning lakefront. As Presenting Sponsor, Hupy played a pivotal role in reviving the beloved July 3rd celebration.
"The July 3rd lakefront celebration is an important event for thousands of community members. I was committed to doing whatever it takes to bring it back this year. Replacing traditional fireworks, the show will feature three waves of cutting-edge drones soaring across the sky with an original synchronized soundtrack, showcasing Milwaukee’s landmarks, patriotic visuals, and local pride.
Michael F. Hupy is a longtime Milwaukee attorney, activist, and philanthropist best known for his decades of service, both in the courtroom and across the community. In addition to sponsoring major civic events, he has contributed millions to public safety campaigns, education and organizations.
