Hupy and Abraham Managing Partner Jason Abraham has accepted a position on the executive board of Yacht Blast for Kids, benefiting Make-A-Wish Wisconsin.
Yacht Blast originated in October 2008 when a Milwaukee businessman met a young boy in Florida near his yacht. The boy voiced his desire to ride a yacht similar to the man’s one day, the man replied, “One day you will.”

That man later learned that the little boy was in Florida to get his wish granted by Make-A-Wish and had since then passed away. He was so touched by the memory of the little boy that he founded “Yacht Blast for Kids” the following year. Yacht Blast allows Wish Kids and their families the chance to go boating on Lake Michigan.
Because of Attorney Jason Abraham’s interest in this organization, he was offered a position on the Yacht Blast for Kids executive board. Attorney Abraham will begin serving on the board in 2015.
The mission of Yacht Blast for Kids is to raise donations for Make-A-Wish Wisconsin while providing a day of smiles on the water for children and their families. This one-day experience proves that impacting just one child can be life changing for an entire community. Since 2009, Yacht Blast for Kids has donated almost $610,000 to Make-A-Wish Wisconsin and has granted wishes for 70 children.
In August, Attorney Abraham attended the 2014 Yacht Blast for Kids event with Marketing Director Jill Wellskopf which granted wishes for seven Wisconsin Wish Kids. His new position on the board will allow Hupy and Abraham to become more involved and to raise more awareness for the cause.
