Attorney Jason Abraham speaking to 6th grade classStaying away from drugs and alcohol is one thing, but telling sixth graders about it is quite another.

Attorney Jason Abraham spent a recent afternoon educating Learning for Life students about the importance of making positive decisions for yourself, having a dream, and staying away from substances that could ruin your life. Attorney Abraham has given many lectures in the past, but not to many sixth graders. This important task to help educate young adults on making a difference for themselves and their community is something Attorney Abraham was excited to do.

Not only did Attorney Abraham discuss his job as a lawyer, but he talked about how he and his law firm have had an impact on the community in a positive way. Hupy and Abraham not only serves their clients to the best of their ability, they stay involved within the community and try to help make a difference where it is needed. As an extra treat, the 20 sixth graders also received goodie bags from the law firm for attending the lecture.

“Attorney Abraham was wonderful! He was very moving and inspirational for the students,” stated Robbie Hayes, Learning for Life Director. “A little girl in the class wrote me a note thanking me for bringing him in. Jason truly captivated the class. He inspired the students regarding his passion for being a lawyer and making good decisions about avoiding drugs and alcohol.”
