On March 2, 2014, Attorney Michael Hupy and his wife Suzanne hosted the “COA Oscar Gala” which raised over $136,000 to benefit COA Youth & Family Centers.

Michael and Suzanne served as the only hosts for this year’s event. They hosted last year’s gala at the Hilton Hotel, which was the only “Oscar Night” in Wisconsin that was sanctioned by the Motion Picture Association of America.

WISN 12 meteorologist Mark Baden emceed the event and Attorney Hupy had several distinguished guests at his table. Among them were TJ and Annie Sommers, the owners of Highlands Sportsman Club, Attorney Ted Wisnefski, a partner in Michael Best & Friedrich, LLP’s Litigation Practice Group, and his wife Rebecca, Daniel Maurina, top business producer for Deloitte Services LLP in the United States, and his wife Lynette, and Attorney Jason Abraham and his wife Andi.

In addition to hosting the evening’s event, Attorney Hupy also made an additional donation to COA to help send some of their kids to summer camp.

Children’s Outing Association (COA) was started in 1906 and has hosted an “Oscar Night Gala” for the past 16 years. COA is the most efficient charity in Wisconsin according to Charity Navigator and serves more than 15,000 Milwaukee children and families through their 22 locations.
