People called into a radio station to pledge money toward the American Family Children’s Hospital during the radiothon. The hospital takes care of thousands of sick and injured children each year. The radiothon extended over three days, while the hospital shared stories of old and current patients it has helped.
Hupy and Abraham, S.C. hosted an hour of the radiothon, which ended up being one of the most successful early morning hours in the event’s history. The firm pledged to match donations made by callers looking to help the hospital. The amount of donations made was almost 2 ½ times the regular pledge number.
The American Family Children’s Hospital offers a variety of aid and support to these children and families, including providing comprehensive pediatric care.
Hupy and Abraham also participated in the radiothon last year, and has been a longtime supporter of children and family health services.
