A Whiteside County man was rear-ended with such force his vehicle was pushed into the vehicles in front of him, causing a four car chain reaction accident. The man was transported by ambulance to the hospital and suffered broken ribs, among other injuries. The insurance company made a quick offer of $10,000 before his treatment was complete and the full impact of his injuries were known.
Dissatisfied, the man hired Hupy and Abraham. Attorney Vito Manicioto also rejected the $10,000 offer and secured a $50,000 settlement without having to file a lawsuit.
