Minibikes! A big idea for a perfect little winter project

2018 seemed to be the year of the minibikes. Events like Mama Tried’s Flat Out Friday, Vintage Torque Fest and the Mini Bike Blender at Milwaukee Harley-Davidson are helping to put minibike racing on the map!

Even major manufacturers are taking note. The Honda Gromm kicked off the minibike frenzy, but this granddaddy of the tiny two-wheelers was quickly answered by other manufacturers with models like the Kawasaki Z125 and Honda Monkey.

It’s easy to see why minibikes are becoming so popular. Pound for pound, they appear to be an extremely high reward with comparatively very little risk. Their simplicity makes them both relatively cost-effective and easy to work on. And with a top speed south of 30 mph, “racing” is less about speed and more about which one of your friends is the hardest to knock off their bike with an elbow or knee.

The law firm of Hupy and Abraham has been proud to support riders of all types. Our team consists of passionate riding enthusiasts who own everything from Harleys to Hondas. And our firm has been a proud sponsor of the minibike race team at Wild Pete’s Vintage Rides during the famous Mama Tried Flat Out Friday races in Milwaukee.  To learn more about great motorcycling events in YOUR area, click here to view our regularly updated motorcycle events calendar!
