Parked motorcycles at Trog fest

Hupy and Abraham, S.C. has been a proud sponsor of Trog Fest for many years. We support many veterans’ causes and charities throughout the year, and this is one of the best.

Trog Fest, presented by the Trogs MC, raises money to send local veterans to Washington, D.C. to visit the memorials of wars they fought.  Special attention to World War II veterans, who are growing small in numbers, and to terminally ill veterans, puts them at the top of the list. The program that makes this possible is the Honor Flights organization, a nonprofit established to fly veterans at no cost to the memorials in our nation’s capital.

Last year, 21,189 veterans were able to take advantage of this program, thanks to donations and events like Trog Fest.  A lot of work still lies ahead, and time is running out for some of these brave men and women. To date, over 38,000 people are on the waiting list to visit the memorials.

This year, the 24th Annual Trog Fest to benefit Honor Flights was June 22, at Okauchee Lions Park. Hundreds of riders and dozens of area motorcycle clubs attended and raised money for Honor Flight. Hupy and Abraham, S.C. will continue to support this very special event, as well as working with other groups who honor our military heroes.
