During the Holidays, it is very common for companies to send Christmas cards to their clients. While our law firm wishes to extend those sentiments to our clients and friends, we have chosen to put the money we would spend on cards to better use.

So this year, as we have for a number of years now, Hupy and Abraham has donated that money to various charities to provide meals during the Thanksgiving and Christmas season.

Here are some of the charities that we chose to make donations to this year, one is in each city where we have an office:

Talent for Christ Old Time Gospel, Milwaukee, WI - Our $2,500.00 donation provided 100 food baskets for hungry families in the Greater Milwaukee Metropolitan area for both the Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays.

Second Harvest Foodbank of Southern Wisconsin, Madison, WI - Our donation helped to provide approximately 7,000 meals for families in Southern Wisconsin.

Christ the Rock Community Church, Menasha (Appleton), WI - Our contribution helped this church provide meals for 2000+ members of the Fox Valley community for Thanksgiving.

Home Sweet Home Ministries, Bloomington, IL - This shelter provided two Thanksgiving meals, serving over 400 people on Thanksgiving Day.

Peoria Rescue Mission, Peoria, IL - The firm’s donation provided food, shelter and hope for 90 of the area’s homeless, including a traditional holiday meal on Thanksgiving Day.

Good Samaritan, Decatur, IL - Our donation helped to feed over 400 adults and children for their Thanksgiving meal.

Working Against Violent Environments (WAVE), Rockford, IL - This domestic violence shelter provided Thanksgiving and Christmas meals for many children and their mothers in the Boone/Winnebago county areas.

So, rest assured that we have not forgotten you during the holidays. Instead of receiving that one additional Christmas card, the money was spent to feed the needy this Holiday season.

Happy Holidays!
