Dear Hupy and Abraham:
On behalf of more than 10,000 children, women and men in Wisconsin diagnosed with multiple sclerosis as well as each person who loves and cares for them, thank you for your donation to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society-Wisconsin Chapter for the "2013 Walk MS - Milwaukee."
Your generosity will help fund cutting-edge research and essential programs and services for everyone touched by this disease. These efforts include:
- Financial assistance for expenses such as home and auto modifications, durable medical equipment, transportation and more to help those living with MS maintain their independence
- Networking support groups and seminars for people affected by MS
- College and summer camp scholarships for children whose parents have MS or who have MS themselves
- More than 350 research initiatives worldwide, including a number being conducted here in Wisconsin
In less than 20 years, MS has gone from a disease with no medical treatment options to one with 10 FDA-approved drug therapies for the most common form of the disease. More are on the horizon. Progress is being made possible because of the generosity of people like you.
