On October 3, 2015, personal injury law firm Hupy and Abraham, S.C. sponsored the “Light the Night Walk” at Kinnick Stadium in Iowa City. The event raises funds for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, which is the largest voluntary health organization dedicated to funding research and providing resources for blood cancer patients. This year’s run/walk had a record number of participants and funds raised. In 2014, the Iowa Chapter raised over $350,000 for blood cancer patients.
“Light the Night” honors survivors, supports patients in finding a cure and remembers those who lost their fight with blood diseases.
