Hupy and Abraham, S.C. was a sponsor for the American Cancer Society’s 2015 “Relay for Life” event that took place at Wisconsin Lutheran College in Wauwatosa, Wisconsin. Members of the community gathered to continue the fight against cancer and celebrate local survivors’ accomplishments. The American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life is the world’s largest and most impactful fundraising event to end cancer.
Each “Relay for Life” event has a similar structure including a survivors’ lap that commemorates the victories cancer survivors have achieved, a brief vigil honoring those that lost their lives to the disease and a ceremony for all attendees to make a personal commitment to promote cancer awareness in their everyday lives.
In the past, Hupy and Abraham, S.C. has sponsored this event and Attorney Chad Kreblin serves as Relay for Life board member. In 2014, the Wauwatosa community raised over $40,000 to support those affected by cancer in the area.
