Due to your generosity "The Big Event" was a resounding success! This fundraiser was the culmination of a true team effort and netted over $110,000! The proceeds support the Discovery Center's mission - to enrich lives and inspire an ethic of care for our Northwoods through the facilitation of connections among nature, people and community. Included in that total is $60,000 for our 2014 Fund-A-Wish campaign, "Inspiring and Educating Across the Generations", which will impact the lives of young conservation leaders as well as at-risk students and expand the role of the Wisconsin Master Naturalist Program in our area.
We've heard nothing but positive comments about the evening from our guests. We could not have accomplished this without the help of such wonderful sponsors, and we truly appreciate your support.
