On Thursday, June 11, 2026, Hupy and Abraham proudly served as a sponsor of the Sojourner Family Peace Center’s “Be the Light” Gala at Discovery World in Milwaukee. The annual event brought together survivors, advocates, donors, and community members for an inspiring evening dedicated to raising awareness of domestic violence and supporting those affected by it.
The evening featured a social reception and silent auction, followed by dinner and a heartfelt program showcasing powerful survivor stories. Guests also participated in a live auction and a special fundraising program before the night concluded with a Glow Dessert Reception. Thanks to the generosity of attendees and sponsors, the “Be the Light” Gala raised $500,000 to support Sojourner’s vital programs and services.
