Insurance Company Tried to Blame Client for Not Swerving

Our client was traveling eastbound on Harrison Avenue in Rockford, when another car pulled out in front of him. The insurance company insisted our client was 20% responsible for the accident because he failed to swerve to avoid the accident or to see the vehicle that pulled out in front of him.

Attorney James Carlson filed a lawsuit and went ahead with depositions to prove the other driver was completely responsible. The day before arbitration, the adjuster offered $23,000, the full value of the claim.
