Attorney James D. Carlson joined Hupy and Abraham in 2016. Prior to that, he handled insurance defense, product liability, pedestrian and motorcycle accidents, dog bites, and slip-and-fall cases. He earned his Juris Doctor from Marquette University Law School in 2012 and is licensed to practice in Illinois and Wisconsin.
Attorney Carlson is an active member of the Illinois State Bar Association, the Winnebago County Bar Association, and the Illinois Trial Lawyers Association. He is also a member of A.B.A.T.E. of Illinois and the Million Dollar Advocates Forum.
Born and raised in the Rockford area, Attorney Carlson is proud to serve his local community.
He has been recognized as a Rising Star on the Illinois Rising Stars list since 2019, highlighting his outstanding professional achievement and peer recognition within the Illinois legal community.
