On July 26, 2008, Kenneth and Roberta Lloyd were passengers in a vehicle on a rural highway in Rock County, Wisconsin, when an oncoming truck crossed the center line into their lane, directly in front of them. The driver of the Lloyd's vehicle swerved into the oncoming lane in an attempt to avoid a collision, but the truck veered back into his own lane at the last moment and the vehicles hit head-on at highway speeds.
The collision was so violent that both Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd suffered internal abdominal injuries from their seat belts and spent several weeks in the hospital to recover. Unfortunately, they're still suffering from the effects of the accident.
Attorney Chad Kreblin of Hupy and Abraham in Milwaukee successfully negotiated the settlement on behalf of the Lloyds, who were very happy with the job he did in preparing and presenting the case to the insurance company.
