Our clients were traveling eastbound on Route 132 in Gurnee, Illinois when the were forced to stop suddenly after several vehicles quickly merged into their lane. Although our clients' vehicle safely avoided a collision, the vehicle behind them was following too closely and rear-ended them. The insurance company denied the claim, placing blame of the vehicles that cut off our clients, rather than their insured, who was following too closely. They repeatedly refused to make any offers.
