$11,000 for injured driver

Our client was driving in Janesville on a clear September day when the defendant ran a red light and struck the client in the driver side.  There were no witnesses to the accident.

Later that day, the client developed neck pain and was evaluated in the emergency room.  He followed up with his chiropractor for 3 months, and was discharged from care with full recovery.  He incurred over $4,700 in medical expenses.

American Family initially denied the claim, based on their insured claiming a green light.  After a submitted claim, the case settled for the full value of $11,000 plus payment of the $1,000 medical expense subrogation claim.
