Our client was driving on a main road in Calumet County when she collided with a vehicle whose driver disregarded a stop sign and drove into her path. Our client suffered a broken finger and multiple cuts and abrasions. Our client’s doctor recommended surgery for the broken finger, but our client wanted to wait as long as possible to undergo surgery so she would not have to miss work.

The insurance company made a low settlement offer of $50,000, that did not include any money for the necessary surgery. Attorney Robert Domol rejected the settlement offer and filed a lawsuit. Several months before trial, the insurance company agreed to pay $250,000, the full amount of insurance policy limits available.
