Our client was riding his bicycle on a path in Brown County when a motorist struck him while trying to turn into a parking lot. Our client was thrown from his bicycle and suffered serious injuries including a broken nose that required surgery.
The driver’s insurance company blamed our client for riding his bicycle too fast and not keeping a proper lookout. Attorney Robert Domol threatened a lawsuit if the insurance company would not pay its full policy limits. The insurance company agreed to pay $300,000, which is the full policy limits available. The settlement included more than $250,000 for pain and suffering.
