On a clear winter day, a city snowplow crossed the center line, striking a pickup truck operated by Hupy and Abraham's client. The impact stopped the truck immediately and dragged it backward, ripping the rear axle from the frame. Our client sustained a neck injury as well as knee and shoulder injuries that required injections and surgeries.
After the claim was initially denied, Hupy and Abraham filed suit. Following depositions, Attorney Douglas R. Ross settled the case at mediation for $175,000.
