$115,500 car accident case result

On April 30, 2014, our client was standing on a street corner when two automobiles collided, sending one crashing into our client. Our client suffered a broken pelvis, ruptured bladder and multiple lacerations and bruises.

One automobile was exiting the expressway, while the other was driving eastbound on a city street. Witnesses observed the eastbound driver drive through a red light. However, the insurer of that driver believed their insured when she said she had a green light. To complicate matters further, our client was homeless and difficult to get a hold of from time to time.

Attorney James Shilobrit was able to negotiate a settlement of $27,500.00 from the insurer of the vehicle exiting the freeway on April 27, 2015. The insurance company continued its denial, so Attorney Shilobrit filed a lawsuit on May 27, 2015, against the insurance company and it's insured. In October 2016, Attorney Shilobrit was able to negotiate a settlement with the insurance company of an additional $88,000.00 to resolve the client’s case in full.
