I represent more injured motorcyclists than anyone in the Midwest, and most of the accidents we see in our practice are due to carelessness. When I ride my motorcycle to work and look at the traffic around me, you see people texting, or emailing, or talking on the phone… We’re just in this fast-paced society where people are just flat out careless.

The majority of the accidents that we see in our practice are vehicles that turn left in front of a motorcyclist and the motorcyclist has nowhere to go and an accident happens. It’s a huge problem.

The main cause of motorcycle accidents is carelessness and inattentive drivers.
