The attorneys of Hupy and Abraham have been repeatedly recognized by the Wisconsin Bar Association for their commitment to various causes.

A Sampling of Wisconsin Bar Association Recognition 2004-2010

From 2004-2010, the Wisconsin Bar Association:

  • Included Hupy and Abraham in a 2004 edition of Wisconsin Lawyer. In the August issue, the Wisconsin Bar Association wrote about our $5,000 donation to Second Harvest of Wisconsin for the Summer Hunger Campaign, the pro bono work we did for members of the Outlaws Motorcycle Club who challenged Summerfest clothing restrictions, and about Attorney Hupy’s donation of his home in Whitefish Bay as part of the 2004 Breast Cancer Showhouse.
  • Included Hupy and Abraham in another edition of Wisconsin Lawyer. This time Attorney Hupy was recognized for helping four New York firemen who helped in the 9/11 rescue. Mr. Hupy donated free tickets to the Harley 100th Anniversary to these American heroes.
  • Included Hupy and Abraham in a 2007 edition of Wisconsin Lawyer. In this edition, the Wisconsin Bar Association recognized our sponsorship of a public television program, “Reading Rainbow”, seen throughout Wisconsin and our sponsorship with Reinhart, Boerner, Van Deuren S.C. of the Wisconsin Association of African-American Lawyers Scholarship Dinner held in Milwaukee on May 17th. Below is a copy of the information as it appeared in the July, 2007, issue of the Wisconsin Lawyer:

The article also contained a copy of our mission statement, which pledges that our firm will give back to the community by contributing to worthwhile causes including educational and safety programs.

We appreciate all of this recognition.

We Also Support the Bar Association

In 2008, our law firm was the top sponsor of the Milwaukee Bar Association’s 150th Anniversary luncheon featuring former U.S. Supreme Court Justice Sandra Day O’Connor as the main speaker, and in 2009, our firm was a platinum sponsor of the 2009 Wisconsin State Bar Convention, the highest support level. Only four other Wisconsin law firms joined Hupy and Abraham as platinum level sponsors of the event. The Annual Convention is the premier event for Wisconsin’s legal community, bringing together the largest gathering of Wisconsin lawyers for important networking and learning. The convention attracted nationally known speakers on important legal topics, and featured an address by current Wisconsin Supreme Court Chief Justice Shirley Abrahamson.

In 2010, Hupy and Abraham was again a Platinum Sponsor of the Wisconsin State Bar Convention. The convention was held at the Monona Terrace Convention Center in Madison, Wisconsin from May 5-7, 2010.  The featured speaker at the 2010 convention was retired U.S. Supreme Court Justice Sandra Day O'Connor, who spoke to hundreds of attendees on Thursday morning May 6th.

Bar Recognition is Appreciated, But It's Not Why We Do Charitable Work

Instead, we do charitable work because these are causes that we believe in, these are people we believe in, and these are communities we support. We invite you to browse our extensive library to find out more about the other kind of charitable work we do and to follow us on Facebook to find out what we will do next.
