Hupy and Abraham was proud to support the Legal Aid Society of Milwaukee’s 110th Annual Luncheon on Thursday, September 10, at the Italian Community Center in Milwaukee.
This year’s luncheon marked an important milestone as the Legal Aid Society celebrated 110 years of serving the Milwaukee community. Since 1916, the organization has worked to expand access to justice and provide a voice for individuals and families who may otherwise go without legal assistance.
Each year, the Legal Aid Society of Milwaukee provides free civil legal services to more than 6,000 eligible individuals and families. Its work includes housing and eviction matters, consumer protection, immigration, health and wealth matters, community redevelopment and representation of children and families.
The 110th Annual Luncheon brought together members of Milwaukee’s legal and business communities, local leaders and supporters to recognize the organization’s longstanding impact. The program featured a keynote presentation from Attorney Mary Catherine Fons, who has spent more than three decades advocating for consumers.
Milwaukee Mayor Cavalier Johnson was also in attendance and presented a proclamation officially recognizing September 10 as Legal Aid Society Day in the City of Milwaukee.
Representing Hupy and Abraham at the luncheon were Marketing Director Jill Wellskopf, Attorney Todd Korb, Attorney John Piero Joyce and members of the firm’s Marketing Department.
Hupy and Abraham have proudly supported the Legal Aid Society of Milwaukee and its mission for decades. The firm remains committed to giving back to the communities it serves and supporting organizations that help provide Milwaukee residents with access to important legal resources and representation.
Congratulations to the Legal Aid Society of Milwaukee on 110 years of service, advocacy and impact. Hupy and Abraham is proud to support the organization and look forward to its continued work throughout the Milwaukee community.
