Local school classroomIn the spirit of holiday giving, Attorney Jason Abraham’s Paralegal Sarah Olsen has fully funded a local school program in his honor. The donation will provide hands on learning materials to twenty Milwaukee 1st-3rd graders with special needs.

The donation in Attorney Abraham’s honor will fully fund Mrs. Maria Torres’s “Laminate and Learning is a Blast” project at Forest Home Avenue School. This institution is the largest elementary school in the state and serves a poverty stricken community. 95 percent of its students are eligible for free lunch.

That’s what makes donations like this one especially important. Mrs. Torres serves students with special needs such as Autism and Attention Deficit Disorder. The donation will enable her to create special learning materials to help students master math charts, number lines, word endings and much more.

Mrs. Maria Torres quote thanking Hupy and Abraham for holiday gift

Attorney Abraham was honored that his holiday gift will have such an impact.

“I am so grateful that my assistant Sarah decided to make this impactful donation on my behalf,” said Attorney Abraham. “I could not ask for a better gift than one that helps children learn.”

Upon receiving the donation, Mrs. Torres was excited for the educational opportunities that lie ahead.

Mrs. Torres said: “I genuinely appreciate your generous donation. Your gift has me excited and motivated. Thank you for making 2016 a great new beginning for us!!”

During the holiday season, Hupy and Abraham increases its efforts to give back to the community. Instead of sending cards to clients, the firm uses that money to donate meals to the needy. Also, the employees have a holiday tradition of collecting donations to various charities in the names of the shareholders.
