American flag with text saying Poker Run for Veterans hosted by Jen's Journey

Dear Hupy and Abraham,

On behalf of the committee, I want to THANK YOU so very much for your contribution towards our Poker Run for Veterans on June 25, 2016. The items that were donated were either raffled off or sold at silent auction. With those items, plus the cash donations, we were able to exceed our goal of funds that were raised to help local veterans. We also designed and sold t-shirts, which gave us another source of revenue.

A large portion of the proceeds was donated to the Ambeland-Ebelt-Lau American Legion Post #386 in Cascade to help them promote their post and continue operations. Funds still available will be used to assist other local veterans in times of need and start a peer mentoring program to assist local vets and their families.

If you are aware of any veterans in the area that may need assistance, please give them our contact information and we will do whatever we can to assist them. AS the charity grows, more resources will be available and we will be able to market the non-profit more proficiently, with a website, separate email address, Facebook page, and other marketing materials.

Again, thank you very much for your contribution and your support of our military and veterans. We all appreciate it very much!

Sincerely,

Jennifer Dewitz
