Dear Hupy and Abraham,

Thank you for your recent donation in support of the "Law Enforcement Torch Run for Special Olympics Illinois (SOILL)." Your generous contribution helps provide year-round training and competitions for nearly 21,500 athletes with intellectual disabilities and more than 18,500 Young Athletes (ages 2-7) with and without intellectual disabilities in Illinois.

2013 proved to be a milestone year for the "Illinois Law Enforcement Torch Run," as more than $3 million was raised for the first time in our state's proud history! Reaching this goal allows even more athletes to enjoy the transformative power of sport and the Special Olympics experience.

This year's "Torch Run" took place June 8-13 across the state. Nearly 3,000 officers carried the Flame of Hope 1,500 miles for the athletes of Special Olympics Illinois. While the fundraising and special events will continue until the end of the year, the actual run culminated with lighting the cauldron to open the "2014 Special Olympics Illinois Summer Games" in Normal, IL on June 13th.

Thanks to you, these athletes inspire greatness in everyone! Thanks again for your support of the "Law Enforcement Torch Run!"

Sincerely,
