Thank you for being part of the Make-A-Wish family by giving local children with life-threatening medical conditions hope, strength and joy. For 30 years, Make-A-Wish has been serving Northeast Wisconsin children and their families and we could not fulfill our mission without generous donors like you. At this year's "Walk for Wishes" event, nearly 400 participants raised enough funds to grant more than 10 wishes. We deeply appreciate your generous in-kind support.
Make-A-Wish Foundation of Wisconsin has been working with caring individuals, businesses and community groups all over the state since 1984 to help children and their families during one of the most challenging times of life. More than 5,000 wish families have experienced the transformational power of a wish, resulting for many in a turning point in the fight against their illnesses.
"Our lives revolved around Jordan's hospital visits, medications and dietary restrictions," said wish kid Jordan's mom after returning from his wish to meet Kobe Bryant. "During the wish trip, our whole family was together, enjoying each other and celebrating Jordan's ultimate wish, his perseverance and his new chapter in life."
More than 500 Wisconsin children like Jordan will be diagnosed this year with a life-threatening medical condition, and currently more than 290 wishes are in progress throughout Wisconsin. Thanks to you, more children like these will discover the power of a wish. Nicholas wishes to go to Washington D.C., while Victoria wishes to go to Hawaii. Darien wishes to meet Eminem and Ian wishes to meet Pittsburgh Steeler Hines Ward. Megan wishes to go to England and Aidan, Hope and Erin wish to go to Walt Disney World.
