Thursday, June 8, 2023, Hupy and Abraham, S.C. was a proud sponsor of Sojourner Family Peace Center’s “Be the Light” Gala at Discovery World in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The event brought together survivors, board members, sponsors and supporters.
The evening started off with a cocktail hour featuring a raffle and a wine pull. After the cocktail hour, the main event started in the venue’s event room. Survivors were able to share their stories and how Sojourner has helped them, and attendees also heard from two brothers who attended Sojourner’s camp, Camp Hope. The camp is for children who have been impacted by domestic violence, sexual assault and child abuse. The event then went into a silent auction, which included multiple private dinners and sports tickets. The end of the event concluded with a mission moment.
Sojourner has a mission to ensure safety to victims of domestic abuse. They provide pathways to get survivors and their families out of violence. In 2022, 7,879 people received services from Sojourner. Hupy and Abraham is proud to support Sojourner Family Peace Center and their mission.
