Hupy and Abraham employees at WBCS Pinktacular 2019

Wisconsin Breast Cancer Showhouse (WBCS) held The Pinktacular Event – the 21st Annual Salute to Survivors on October 3, 2019.  Hupy and Abraham, S.C. was a sponsor of this event and has supported it for more than 10 years.  This luncheon and survivor fashion show raises funds to support breast cancer and prostate cancer research at the Medical College of Wisconsin Cancer Center.  Many Hupy and Abraham, S.C. employees attended, including Attorney Todd Korb and Marketing Director Jill Wellskopf.

The 2019 fashion show models were all survivors of breast cancer or prostate cancer.  A special person who helped them through their cancer journey accompanied them each on the runway.  Hundreds of people attended the luncheon.  Before and after the events, attendees were welcomed to shop booths featuring items by local artisan vendors.

Toya Washington from WISN 12 was the fashion show emcee and recounted the models’ emotional stories of strength and triumph with this disease as they strutted down the runway.  Each model walked alongside someone who helped the survivor through his or her cancer experience.

The WBCS is an all-volunteer charity organization whose mission is to support early-stage breast and prostate cancer research at the Medical College of Wisconsin Cancer Center. Since 1998, the WBCS has donated over $6.15 million to fund research for breast and prostate cancer.

Hupy and Abraham, S.C. president, Attorney Michael Hupy, has been a long-term supporter of the Wisconsin Breast Cancer Showhouse.  The firm has been involved with WBCS for the past decade, and Attorney Hupy continues to be an advisor for the organization.
