Our client was injured on the job when he fell off a forklift and broke his pelvis. The client was airlifted to a hospital where he had a difficult hospital stay. The insurance company tried to avoid liability by claiming that the worker was injured due to being under the influence of drugs. They fired the worker and refused to pay for any of his medical bills. He was unable to work for months, began walking with a cane, and had no medical care.
